First edition, quarto, lacking final blank (K4), neatly washed without being excessively pressed; margins intact throughout; repaired tear to H3; bound in full calf for Frederick Perkins, with his armorial crest tooled in gilt to both boards (rebacked); 6 3/4 x 5 in.

Nabbes's third play was first performed in London in 1635 by Queen Henrietta's Men, with William Allen (d. 1647) as Hannibal and Michael Bowyer (1599-1645) as Scipio.
